Come and Stay in a delightful 15th Century Cruck Cottage
Causeway House is situated in the heart of the Peak District village of Castleton and provides comfortable accommodation with all the conveniences of the 21st century. The present building dates to the mid 1600’s and is built upon a 15th century medieval cruck cottage with the original oak timbers still visible.
Whether you’re staying for a single night ( unless you’re walkers I don’t accept single night bookings on Friday and Saturday) or a whole week, owner Phil Oakley will help to make sure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
To check availability or to book your stay at Causeway House, please call or email Phil.
Please note I no longer provide breakfasts.
The village boasts several pubs, cafes (one right next door) and stores that will provide a hot meal and drink to start your day. Tea and coffee facilities within each room plus snacks are provided.
Unfortunately I don’t accept dogs and other pets.
