Come and stay in a delightful 15th-century Cruck Cottage
Causeway House is situated in the heart of the Peak District village of Castleton, providing comfortable room-only accommodation with all the conveniences of the 21st century. The present building dates back to the mid-1600s and is built upon the remains of a 15th-century medieval cruck cottage, with the original oak timbers still visible.
Whether you’re staying for a single night (unless you’re a walker, I don’t accept single-night bookings on Friday and Saturday) or a whole week, owner Phil Oakley will help to make sure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
To check availability or to book your stay at Causeway House, please call or email Phil.
Please note, Causeway House is sold on a room-only basis. There are several pubs, cafés (one located right next door), and Castelton Stores that offer a hot meal and drink to start your day. Tea and coffee facilities are available in each room, along with snacks.
